Maud Gerritsen
Certified Instructor
Ever since I qualified as a yoga teacher in 2016, I’ve been on a path to improve my wellbeing. This was important for me as 20+ years of working in a pressured office environment combined with chronic pain and illness had taken a toll on my health. I studied yoga therapy and yin yoga, qualified as a clinical somatics instructor, became a practitioner of Thai yoga massage and myofascial release before discovering YOQI qigong flow in early 2020. While all these practices helped me feel better, stronger and more flexible and improved my posture, the YOQI method however added a deeper layer of change; helping me be more in touch with the energy flowing through my body, helping to balance and align this energy and the practice became altogether more healing and spiritual. The YOQI method is an easily accessible, mind-body-spirit practice which aids mental, emotional and spiritual growth, and is a powerful tool to become more present and connected to self and others and the world.
